EMV Issue – Device Displaying “Please Wait”

We continue to monitor the issue identified earlier today. Additionally, over the next several days, we will proactively monitor EMV device services and intervene as needed should any recurring issues arise.

We have restarted a backend service that had stopped, and devices should now be operational again.

We are continuing to investigate the root cause and are working on a mitigation to prevent recurrence while the root cause is being identified.

We have received an increased number of reports from site locations experiencing one or more EMV devices displaying “Please Wait.” We are actively investigating the issue and working toward a solution.

In the interim, restarting the terminal connected to the affected EMV device will restore functionality for the remainder of the day.
